ETOPS Entry Point

ETOPS Entry Point – The first point on the route of an ETOPS flight; determined using a one-engine inoperative cruise speed under standard conditions in still air that is more than 60 minutes from an adequate airport for airplanes with two engines, and more than 180 minutes from an adequate airport for passenger-carrying airplanes with more than two engines.
