Passenger Revenue per Available Seat Mile (PRASM)

Passenger Revenue per Available Seat Mile is a  common measure of an Airline’s “unit revenue” or how much profit the Airline is making for each unit of capacity. It is calculated by dividing passenger revenue by available seat miles. Typically the measure is presented in terms of cents per mile.
